Lumiadd is revolutionising the way professional lighting products are designed and manufactured. We have developed a process that enables the design and manufacture of finished luminaires, quickly, and as part of a circular economy with a low carbon footprint. At the heart of this process is 3D printing, using bio-plastics that do not require the consumption of non renewable resources, produced using sustainable and renewable natural resources. In addition to this, end of life products made with bio plastics can be recycled or broken down into carbon dioxide and water. Aside from the sustainability aspects, FDM 3D printing has many advantages over traditional production methods. No tooling costs, design freedom to innovate constantly and no barrier to custom variations.
