Luminar Ventures is a VC firm focused on seed-stage startups across the Nordics, providing experienced seed financing and active operational support to Nordics-based early-stage technology companies that are looking to disrupt or transform major industries. Luminar's founding partners, Magnus Bergman and Jacob Key, are both former serial entrepreneurs and active angel investors with a successful track record of founding and growing tech startups such as Truecaller, Prezi, Sportamore, FirstVet and Challengermode to name a few of the 50+ startups they've backed at the earliest stage. They founded Luminar alongside Sting, Sweden's most successful startup platform. Now managing two funds totalling over €130m, Luminar’s core investment focus is on scalable digital seed-stage companies from the Nordics, founded by highly-motivated and visionary entrepreneurs. The fund leads seed rounds through investments ranging from €500k to €2.5m, and supports early-stage startups on their journey to becoming breakout growth-stage scaleups, including Carla, Greenely, CodeScene, Hiber, Insurely, Mindler, Normative, Mynt, Yazen and many more.
