At Luminate Careers we work to understand individual needs of young people and students. This shapes our approach ensuring that career management skills are gained in order to successfully manage a lifelong career. Our vision at Luminate Careers is to ensure that all young people have access to quality independent advice and guidance, to help them shape their future. Founded by Kathryn Garland and Jess Townsend in 2019; we are Level 6 qualified practitioners with over 30 years’ experience of working in Derby City and Derbyshire schools. Our growing network of fully trained and qualified local associates support the delivery of careers guidance across the East Midlands. Together with our Careers Guidance and Development qualifications, Jess is also qualified as an Occupational Psychologist. We work in schools across the East Midlands helping students to think about their next steps, career ideas and aspirations. Supporting schools with their CEIAG programme and in particular to meet Gatsby Benchmark 8. At Luminate careers we work with each individual school to develop a programme that is best suited to meet the needs of their students, understanding that each school is diverse and has different requirements.
