Lumnia Consulting was established in March 2015 as an environmental consultancy providing professional expertise in the submission of environmental permits and planning applications to waste operators, and ongoing support in relation to compliance and regulatory requirements. In January 2018, the company expanded its services to include a brokering business for waste operators seeking to reduce the amount of their waste going to Landfill. Lumnia provide solutions primarily for RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) and SRF (Solid Recoverable Fuel) to companies so they are able to divert their residual wastes away from Landfill. In the second half of 2018, Lumnia has further diversified the business by providing fully independent insurance services specializing in the waste and energy sectors. The team can provide comprehensive insurances for the entire commercial business.
