We are an insight-driven innovation firm. We focus on improving livelihoods and economic outcomes through innovative and impact driven business solutions. Founded in Kenya in the year 2017, Lustre Innovation Centre is dedicated to building impactful and scalable business solutions. We work with organizations ranging from start-ups to SMEs and multinationals, helping them design, test, and deliver models that create lasting social and economic value. Our mission is to empower enterprises to innovate for good, driving livelihoods, inclusion, and economic empowerment in low-income communities through human-centric applications. We focus on sectors critical to the growth and resilience of low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), supporting businesses from ideation to implementation through structured innovation processes. By combining Human-Centered Design and Lean Impact Testing, we help businesses move beyond viability, to thrive with purpose and measurable impact. We leverage deep consumer insights and behavioural science to enable behaviour change that strengthens businesses and the markets they serve. We believe real and lasting change is rooted in a vibrant, inclusive, and innovative private sector, and we exist to help unlock that potential. We work at both the micro level (empowering individual businesses) and the systemic level (shaping markets and ecosystems), guided by human-centered design, systems thinking, and responsible innovation.
