Luzhniki Olympic Complex is one of the largest multi-faceted sport, recreational and entertainment facilities in the world. Luzhniki occupies more than 153 hectars of land. There are professional arenas for competitions in various sports, 8 standard and 10 mini-football pitches, 4 foot-halls, 36 tennis courts, three full-fledged athletic complexes, cafes, restaurants, a health center with a Clinical Research Center of Sports Medicine. The whole architectural and park ensemble of Luzhniki represents a set of unique buildings and various venues, the most important of which are: Big Sports Arena, Multifunctional Arena, the Palace of Sports, Swimming Pool, “Druzhba” Sports Hall, Sports village. The most significant events, concerts, festivals and shows are held within the territory of the complex. Luzhniki is the center of the professional and the amateur sport, one of the most popular places of active leisure in the heart of Moscow.
