Light… some say water is the most necessary element to support organic life but I rather think it is light. What divides and paints the world we see before our eyes? It is the presence and absence, tone and hue of light. There is an infinite amount of ways to take a picture. The photographer's intuition guides him to creating a resonating tick in the human mind. I have found an impenetrable depth amongst the f-stop and aperture, the likes of which, I never could have discovered had I been motivated by profit or menial monetary morsel. A photograph captures the state of matter in world of form that is compressed into one everlasting moment. I think of this simple concept when taking pictures for it drives my creative passion.
