Maak Microfinance Company is one of the latest investments of the Misr Finance Co, a subsidiary of Misr Insurance Holding Co, which is owned, in turn, by Egypt Sovereign Fund, to contribute to economic development plans, enhance financial inclusion, and reduce poverty and unemployment rates. Maak Company was established in May 2023 according to an integrated vision and plan prepared by Misr Finance Financial Services Company. The company is managed by a specialized team with more than 20 years of experience in the field of finance. The company's plan is built on several pillars to achieve its societal role and economic contribution through: The geographical spread of the company aims to spread economic development throughout the Republic by opening 110 branches in 23 governorates, and the branches outside Greater Cairo represent more than 80% of the business plan. Providing a distinct package of products aimed at creating new job opportunities and opening areas of economic activity that were not targeted by most entities working in the same field. Optimal use of the facilities available to the company from banking and economic institutions, in a way that enhances the ability of these institutions for targeted and productive financing. Facilitating the work cycle of obtaining financing by using well-studied procedures and employing the latest technology designed specifically for this field in order to facilitate dealing with the targeted citizens.
