Macelaria Ghita

Behind the "Macelaria Ghita" brand is the IZOCON MC company, a family business, founded in the early '90s. It all started with the acquisition of a decommissioned pig farm after the communist period, later rebuilt with its own sources and European funding to now have an annual population of about pigs. Subsequently, the company's activity expanded by setting up a vegetable farm for the exploitation of agricultural land in order to obtain food for the pig farm. In the early the company laid the foundations of a modern slaughterhouse, built with European funds, to capitalize on the pigs obtained on its own farm. Starting with 2006 we decided to invest in the production of our own meat products and meat preparations and thus we opened our first butcher's shop from 100% own production. Years have passed and now we have 17 butchers in southeastern Romania where we sell meat products of the highest quality given that we have control over the entire production flow: from animal reproduction to final meat products.
