The Machine Learning Group (MLG) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles is a research unit of the Computer Science Department of the Faculty of Sciences, co-headed by Prof. Gianluca Bontempi and Prof. Tom Lenaerts. MLG has extensive expertise in different areas related to Machine Learning, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. Some recent projects include credit card fraud detection, modelling and analysis of human behaviour and emotions, predictive methods for oligogenic diseases, Spark implementations for large data cohorts, information theoretical analysis of gene regulatory networks and protein structures.
