In December 2010, Michiel started his own independent legal practice, Madison Legal. Michiel focuses on bringing legal solutions to his clients (both corporate and government) consisting of executive legal strategic advice, drafting and negotiation. Key words: pragmatic, high level, broad minded, can do spirit and loyal. Michiel started his career as an attorney-at-law at a leading law firm in Amsterdam, specializing in commercial contracts and corporate law. After 3,5 years Michiel chose to expand his skills by working as a business and corporate counsel for a leading Dutch multinational as from December 2007. This position allowed Michiel to further specialize in contract and corporate law as well as adding expertise on compliance procedures for listed companies.
