Madison Mutual distributes its products exclusively through Independent Agents based in Illinois, Missouri, Indiana and Wisconsin. We currently have over 400 agencies representing us throughout the region with more than 500 licensed producers. Madison Mutual Insurance Company (MMIC) was founded in 1920 as the Madison County Mutual Automobile Insurance Company. From 1920 until 1982 we wrote auto insurance exclusively in Madison County in Southern Illinois. In 1983, we expanded into Home, Farm and Personal Umbrella lines and began to expand throughout the rest of the state. Over 90 years later, we continue to grow our network while striving for best-in-class service for our policyholders.
