NEXT GENERATION CABLE TRACKING Meet Magtrack: Built on 30 years of experience within subsea instrumentation, Magtrack is a subsea cable tracking system that can accurately detect cable positions, track a cable in 3D, show burial depth and pinpoint fault locations. It can be used on all active or tone bearing cables. Titanium and carbon fiber: Lightweight and compact, the system is still very robust with titanium sensors and a subsea electronics module (SEM) in titanium and carbon fiber. Easy to operate: Each Magtrack system comes with 4 small sensors which integrate 3-axis fluxgate magnetometers and inclinometers for easy installation and highly accurate positioning. Export raw and processed data: The SEM processes data from all sensors and transfers raw and processed data to the surface vessel. This data can be further processed in a survey system with other relevant data such as ROV position and data from other survey instruments. OTHER PRODUCTS: Signal sources Our Magtrack Cable Trackers work on all tone bearing cables. In cases where the cable is not energized, we can generate a signal through tone generators. We supply our own Chroma-based tone generator, that is custom built for field operations. This can also be further enhanced by adding our Magtrack Transformer.
