Mahelp Integrated Development Organisation

Mahelp Integrated Development Organisation (MAHELP - IDO) is a registered non-governmental and nonprofit making organization established to promote the community development through advocacy, community development projects, research, provision of essential services through volunteers and capacity building. MAHELP – IDO, formerly called Maternal Health and Livelihood Promoters (MAHELP - Ghana) was initiated to improve upon the health and livelihood of deprived communities in Ghana, through advocacy and stakeholder consultations. With the inception of the sustainable development goals (SDGs), it became necessary for the organisation to restructure its programmes and activities to reflect some of the sustainable development goals. The target beneficiaries of our programmes, projects and activities are young people, women, and children in urban and rural areas of Ghana and Africa. Our programmes, projects and activities are based on the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); No poverty (Goal 1), Zero Hunger (Goal 2), Good Health and well-being (Goal 3), Quality Education (Goal 4), decent work and economic growth (Goal 8), Partnerships for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)(Goal 17). It is the vision of (MAHELP - IDO) to promote development through research and integrated needs assessment of communities. MAHELP seeks the support and sponsorship of all well-meaning Ghanaians, corporate organizations, as well as the international community and donors, NGOs to help realize the vision.
