Maia Gelato

Maia Gelato is an original Italian ice cream parlor/cafeteria based in Rugby’s High Street. We brought to Rugby a taste of Italy by producing in our kitchen the original Italian Gelato with 100% natural ingredients all coming directly from Italy. Compared to today's English style ice cream, our gelato has less fat in the base and less air churned into it during the freezing process. Ice creams are heavier on the cream, so they have a higher fat content (up to 18% in some cases). In comparison, to make our Gelato, we use more milk than cream, so it doesn't have nearly as much fat. We offer a wide choice of 16 different flavors and on rotation there are always available dairy/gluten free and vegan options.
