Mainstay DRP is a Downpatrick-based charity dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. For over 30 years, we’ve provided residential care, supported living, day opportunities, and short breaks — always centred on respect, dignity, and independence. Our vision is simple but powerful: to ensure every person we support, and their families, can live a life filled with purpose, belonging, and opportunity. We live our values every day — empowering individuals to make their own choices, building strong communities of inclusion, promoting purpose through meaningful activities, championing ability with pride, and leading with compassion. Through our new social enterprise, Main Community Enterprises CIC, we’re also creating pathways into volunteering, training, and employment — so that people can thrive not just in our services, but as active and valued members of the wider community. Mainstay is more than support; we are a trusted anchor and a catalyst for possibility.
