Founded in France in 1880, Maison Pouenat offers a contemporary take on the metamorphosis of metal with its wonderfully bold ornamental designs. Following its long tradition in the Decorative Arts, its mastery of traditional ironwork techniques is combined with bold designs and unique decorative patinas to achieve a contemporary feel. In the seventies, Maison Pouenat has expanded its classic metalwork activities to architectural bespoke layout. Since 2003, Maison Pouenat creates and launches new collections of pieces in collaboration with renowned designers. By presenting signed creations, limited to 48 pieces, it established itself as the first Edition gallery in contemporary designs. Through each creation, its craftsmen are committed to perpetuating and reinventing the ancestral know-how. From the drawings to models, manufacturing to the decoration, Maison Pouenat offers a technical and artistic tailored made approach to give life to timeless artistic work.
