Maison Societe

We are Maison Société - designers of handmade cement tiles. Founded in 2018, our mission is to give you the building blocks to create surfaces of your own self-expression. All of our tiles are made by hand using traditional techniques which result in slight colour and shade variations from tile to tile. In essence, each tile is unique and whilst this is what makes them so special we do recommend that your tiler mixes the tiles from each case a few days before installation to ensure they are well blended. Once they are mixed, allow the tiles to breathe in their natural environment for several days before installation. Much like other natural materials, this process allows the tiles to absorb the humidity of the space around them before they are installed.
