I have worked supporting families in the care of their children in hospital settings for my career as a Paediatric nurse for some 25 years. More recently I have turned my focus on support for families in their transition into parenthood, and the well Mother/baby space. I began this with Infant massage and moved into Child Health Services and I now work in the Parenting Support space with Lactation Consultant and Sleep and Settling services my passion. “Evidence shows that providing the right care and support in the transition to parenthood can have a long-term impact on the health and wellbeing of women and their families.” As a Lactation Consultant I have qualifications as a health professional and Child Health Nurse, I also hold an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) qualification.
