MADE is a student-led organisation under the University of Auckland’s Department of Economics, dedicated to bridging the gap between students and industry professionals. We provide opportunities to network, gain insights, and see firsthand how economics shapes the world around us. Our mission is to empower students to drive social change through the practical application of economic principles. We focus on Translational Economics; implementing economics in a real world setting to realise its full potential. Through competitions, guest speaker events, and office visits, we help students develop industry connections and explore career pathways.
