Make The Dash Count Foundation

This organization uses hands-on grantmaking to introduce high-school students to the joys and challenges of philanthropy. By serving on one of our Youth Boards, they learn about the fiscal literacy, community awareness and thoughtful decision-making necessary to allocate grant funds to programs benefiting at-risk youth. This process turns board members into informed and repsonsible stewards of the foundation's grantmaking process and prepares them for future leadership roles in their communities. Our vision is to create an army of youth philanthoropists who will serve as community leaders throughout their lives.
