For the past 20 years, corporate giving has remained steady at 2% of GDP. Through strategic partnerships, Makers4Good plans on increasing that percentage. Makers4Good matches maker companies and their products to nonprofit organizations with related missions. Our mission is to provide consulting and funding to set up partnerships between non-profit organizations and designers, e-tailers, & manufacturers. These partnerships help create a sustainable cycle of products, sales, and donations. Our work is centered on providing scalable engineering solutions and customizable fundraising campaigns. With the help of product designers and e-tailers we help customize fundraising campaigns for non-profit organizations such as our partnerships with the solar based 1 Million Lights, Hacker Dojo’s Picture This, and the National Federation of the Blind. Our scalable engineering solutions range from assisting Juma Ventures to develop a hot liquids backpack to helping develop a USB charging solar flashlight for Luxi Zero.
