Welcome to Makin’ Groceries! Hi! I’m Jasmynn Lahner, the registered dietitian calling all the shots here at Makin’ Groceries. I have expertise in gestational (pregnancy) nutrition, infancy nutrition, child nutrition, family nutrition, and school food services, including: menu planning, nutrient analysis, menu consultation as well as one-on-one and group nutrition counseling. After growing up in the small Texas town of Hitchcock, snuggled between Galveston and Houston, I studied nutrition at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas, where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition, with emphasis in Dietetics. Then I earned a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Metabolism from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Currently, I reside in the San Antonio area.
