At Malibu Canyon Aquatics we are committed to the philosophy that every swimmer must learn to crawl before they are asked to walk. What does this mean for your child? It means they will learn skills with great detail and build impeccable motor pathways for each stroke. In order for a swimmer to be successful at the highest level, they must have both outstanding technique and an excellent relationship with the water. These two elements are only instilled in a swimmer if the learning process is highly focused and patient. Just as Rome was not built in a day, a swimmer spends years perfecting their craft. Our Swim Academy and Swim Team is not set up like most programs. Rather than following a completely linear progression where a swimmer graduates from a swim school and joins a club, every member of the Academy and the Swim Team are members of the club from the onset.
