Miriam P. Cummings is Founder and Managing Director of Malvada Group LLC, formerly known as Malvada Consulting Group, a multi-disciplinary communications and business development firm based in Atlanta, Georgia. Since she has managed the development and facilitation of programs for public and private sector clients. Miriam works closely with engineering, urban planning, universities, nonprofit, municipalities, elected officials, businesses, neighborhood organizations and special interest groups to establish sound policies and decision-making. She understands the importance of an efficient facilitation and coordination process to empower communities to achieve relevant solutions in a neutral setting. Her core markets are community planning, transportation, environmental, water/wastewater, nonprofit, education and corporate. With more than 25 years experience she specializes in strategic planning, organization development, community outreach, facilitation, mediation, training, feasibility studies, promotions and market research. Over the years, Ms. Cummings has developed a vast background in social, civic and community service initiatives. She is a member of the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2 and the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Public Involvement Advisory Group (PIAG).
