Rice is one of the main ingredient in Asian food, especially in Korean and Japanese society. It is the essence of the culture as well as the soul of many dishes. The primacy of rice is echoed in Asian language. In Japanese, “gohan” () is both the word for “cooked rice” and “Meal”. Similarly, this is also true in korean culture where rice is the main dietary staple. The word Bab () means rice, but also can be understood as “Meal” in Korean conversation. As rice means so much for Japanese and Korean people, we- as Mama Bowls, make it a key ingredient in our menu. Our menu selects the most popular rice- based dishes from Korea and Japan.
