Mamacita Foundation

Mamacita Foundation is a Scottish registered non governmental organization, poised towards the integration, inclusion and support of the overall well-being of the new members (immigrants) of our beautiful city of Aberdeen. We carry out an every Tuesdays and Fridays pop in/food bank sessions. These sessions would bring the indigenous people and the immigrants together always, thereby facilitating their integration process. Emergency food banks are carried out on Sundays to support the physically, mentally, socially disadvantage in our community (whereby food parcels are dropped off at their homes). A big monthly meet and greet events brings all and sundry together. A CV/ job clinic is run by the foundation to support our back to work project. This would also manage total dependency on the food bank service. We also run a youth platform too. Because they also experience the social/moral/culture shock upon arrival. The platform provides a safe space for the young people to share experiences/coping mechanisms both from school and general well-being. Trips are organised for meets and greets.
