MANINGS was initially created in 2011 to support the aeronautical sector eco-design development. Indeed, it seemed natural for us to develop eco-design tools and products dedicated for the private and public sector…in the Amazon! Together with our partners, MANINGS aims to develop project and ambitious partnership between French Guiana and Brazil (Manaus industrial ecosystem) putting together ICTs and environmental engineering. We propose different services to companies which are to… …Support public and private decision-makers transform and/or create their CSR strategy based on a 2050 carbon-neutral target. …Perform the eco-design of their products or services through different methodologies applied in the industry including the aeronautical sector (life-cycle analysis, carbon footprint according to ISO 14069 and GHG protocol).Help them developing and applying ambitious carbon footprint mitigation plans with local benefits in French Guiana and the Amazon region. We would like to enhance disruptive value chains in the Amazon region, in order to reduce the negative impact of our partners, together with their own stakeholders, based on industrial ecology principles.
