We specialize in small-batch, hand-poured soy candles alongside a thoughtfully curated selection of goods from independent makers. Founded with the belief that everyday rituals can be both beautiful and meaningful, Manitou blends product craftsmanship with community connection. In addition to our signature candle collections, we host candle-making workshops designed to bring people together through creativity and shared experience. We collaborate with businesses to produce custom candles for corporate gifting, retail, and branded events, and to host private team-building workshops that inspire creativity, collaboration, and connection. We also offer wholesale, custom, and bulk candle programs tailored to the needs of brands, organizations, and events. We are a proud member of 1% for the Planet, committing 1% of annual sales to environmental nonprofits working to protect and restore the natural world. Sustainability and intentional sourcing guide our decisions - from materials and packaging to the brands we choose to carry. Each candle is made in our Cincinnati studio using 100% American-grown soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks, and premium fragrances infused with essential oils - always free from paraffin, phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, lead, and zinc.
