Manresa School

Manresa School is a private, co-educational Roman Catholic school in BF Homes, Parañaque. It offers education for Preschool (Nursery & Kindergarten), Elementary (Grades 1 to 6), Junior High (Grades 7 to 10), and Senior High (Grades 11 to 12). Established in 1971, the school is run by the nuns of the Congregation of the Hijas de Jesus, founded by Saint Candida Maria de Jesus. The name Manresa was chosen due to the significance of the place to the congregation as Saint Candida Maria was a follower of Ignatian spirituality; Saint Ignatius of Loyola used to spend time praying in a cave at Manresa, Spain. Manresa School envisions a discerning community committed to developing Christ-centered, globally-competent, and self-actualized persons in the service of the church and the world. In its desire to deepen the spirit of filiation, fraternal love, and generous service to its clientele, especially to the marginalized of the society, the school constantly commits itself to the attainment of its philosophy, vision-mission, and goals for the greater glory of God.
