Our family has been harvesting and steam-distilling Manuka Oil on our organic farm near Whitianga on the Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand for over 25 years. It's a pristine and isolated part of New Zealand, and I believe that's why our Manuka plants have developed their very own unique, powerful characteristics. On our property, the Manuka plants grow wild, and we harvest by hand only a very small proportion of them each year which allows us to operate in a sustainable and eco-friendly way. While it is a labour-intensive task, we feel it is worth it as it allows us to select only the best parts of the tree to create the finest quality Manuka Oil. We're proud that we continue to operate as a small family business. We use the same sustainable and chemical-free farming methods and unique distilling process that my father started many years ago. These processes have led us to be the only Certified Organic Manuka Oil producer in the world. The Manuka Oil we produce is an amazing skincare ingredient as it is packed full of potent antimicrobial activity, which means it is antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory.
