MAPEI is a leading international manufacturer of chemical products for construction. MAPEI first began distributing ceramic tile installation products in Puerto Rico in 1974. In 1998, as MAPEI Caribe, we established our manufacturing plant in Dorado, Puerto Rico. With offices in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, MAPEI Caribe provides a strong local presence serving the construction needs of all the Caribbean islands. MAPEI manufactures concrete restoration systems, products for structural strengthening of concrete, concrete admixtures, cement additives, technology for underground construction, and below-grade waterproofing systems, as well as mortars, grouts, adhesives and surface-preparation products for flooring and other finished surfaces.
