Maputo Intermodal Container Depot

Maputo lntermodal Container Depot was established in 2011 to extend the container services on offer at the port of Maputo. MICD has the concession to handle and store containers and for the packing and unpacking of cargoes to and from containers until 2043. The current facility consist of a sqms warehouse, a Teu 2,500 empty container yard, a Teu 300 full container yard and a sqms bulk packing slab. We also have wash bay facilities and reefer plug points. We offer a wide variety of container related services; • Container storage • Container Inspections • Cleaning of containers • Light container repairs • Pre-trip Inspections on reefer containers • Receiving bulk cargoes and pack into containers • Receiving and Warehousing of unitized cargoes for packing into containers. • De-stuffing of containers, warehousing of cargo and loading onto road vehicles • Warehouse approved by PPECB for ambient packing of fruits
