Welcome to the Marijuana Industry Group (MIG). As the oldest and largest trade association for licensed Colorado cannabis businesses, MIG represents the interests and advocates on behalf of the rapidly evolving needs of the regulated marijuana industry in Colorado. We have a reputation of working with state and local regulators and policymakers to solve issues facing the industry. We have strong relationships with the governor’s office and statewide regulatory agencies, as well as involvement at local levels in Denver, Aurora, Boulder, Pueblo, Colorado Springs and other municipalities. After 45 years of the war on marijuana, and over a trillion spent, marijuana remains universally available, particularly in our schools. Just like with prohibition, marijuana sales have been dominated by those who would use violence to control the illegal market. We provide a safe, accountable, and transparent alternative to the illicit market. Through licensing, regulation, and taxation, communities are able enhance safety, revenue, and civil liberties.
