Marine Ecological Services Mes

Marine Ecological Services was set up to provide key technical scientific and environmental consultancy services to the oil and gas (O&G), power and water, mining, ports, renewable energy and aquaculture industry sectors in Australia and Internationally. MES continues to develop innovative approaches to support critical processes, including- addressing complex regulatory requirements - marine sediment characterisation and classification - univariate and multivariate data analysis and interpretation - habitat mapping of coastal and offshore sea beds - Net Environmental Benefit Analysis (NEBA) tools to support oil spill response. MES can provide support in the survey planning, implementation, analysis and interpretation and reporting of marine benthic baseline and monitoring surveys. We have particular technical expertise in the determination of anthropogenic and natural impacts to intertidal and subtidal benthic habitats - most specifically in particulate sediments and infauna.
