Mariner Communications was founded in 2009 by Neville Smith, to provide a bespoke solution to public relations and media communications for the maritime industry. Today, the company works for some of the industry’s best-known organisations, including * the world’s biggest classification society by orderbook,* the largest global distributor of digital navigation charts,* the leading broker of dry freight derivatives,* one of the best-known brands of marine coatings,* the largest global provider of port agency services,* two of the most innovative providers of maritime communications and software. Client locations range from the United States, the UK, Norway and mainland Europe, the Middle East, India, Singapore and China, with clients that include industry associations and bodies that support seafarers and shipping professionals world-wide. Our services include the planning and development of messaging and positioning on behalf of clients, as well as the delivery of proven strategies that reflect established brands and cultures. Media training programmes are available for senior management and company spokespeople, including group training and one to one sessions.
