Why Do We Exist? To share Christ's love with the families in our community. How Do We Behave? We create relationships with Marion families by following Jesus' model of sacrificial love to meet the physical needs and give equal opportunity to those who may be facing any economic, social, racial, and religious barriers providing true justice. What Do We Do? We provide families with advocacy, connections, and services to meet their basic needs and to promote equal opportunity for all in Marion out of an outpouring of Christ's love in us. How Do We Succeed? By becoming a community connector and collaborator that brings together the kids and families that Marion Cares provides for with the resources that are needed. Over 20 congregations send volunteers, give financially and provide in-kind donations (school supplies, bicycles, winter clothing needs and Christmas gifts). Many businesses and service clubs impact children and families by giving financially and providing in-kind donations.
