Mark Powell Scientific Limited was established to provide technical support for early-stage drug development and training for analytical chemists. The consultancy service offers expertise in analytical development and validation, including the review of drug product specifications and technical reports. We can also help with data integrity compliance, perform audits of GMP laboratories and help to solve problems during analytical development. Our training courses include chromatography, spectroscopy, pharmaceutical dissolution testing, data integrity awareness and basic laboratory skills. All are designed to be run at the client's site and include a hands-on component. Mark Powell Scientific is an accredited training provider with Cogent SSC, the UK's vocational training agency, and was commissioned by Spectroscopy Magazine to deliver a web-based course in UV spectroscopy during June 2014. We are currently delivering chromatography training courses on behalf of Hichrom Limited, and pharmaceutical dissolution training in collaboration with Pharma Training Services. Mark Powell is currently Honorary Treasurer of the RSC's Analytical Division.
