mi-t.one is a Microsoft cloud-based application designed to support airlines in making informed decisions in the areas of Market Positioning, Route Performance, Key Account Management, Interlining, and especially Pricing. How does it work? Shipment AWB records data are fed into the application through a preformatted input file. Shipments are then sorted out and aggregated on an airport-to-airport basis that permits the execution of O/D queries by Airport, City, Country, or Region of the world. Trade lanes can then be sorted out as per shipment weight breaks, i.e,+45,+100.+300, split by each issuing agent, then filtered per Product (DGR, Pharma among others). Those key AWB data elements make up the various sets of data our application transforms into actionable reports carefully designed to address purpose-specific objectives. And what makes MI-t so different from IATA and WACD? It must be emphasized that while IATA and WorldACD treat all airlines equally in terms of competition, MI-t sets itself apart by grouping competitors into specific segments. This approach enables our users to concentrate on relevant competitors, such as peer airlines or those operating through alliances or JVs, which is far more effective than comparing against a single pool of airlines.
