Markus Foundation

The charitable organization «Markus Foundation» was established in May 2022 to meet the needs of the 47th Separate Battalion. In July 2022, the battalion was reorganized into the 47th Assault Regiment, and in November 2022, it was expanded to the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade. Throughout this time, the charitable foundation «Markus Foundation» has continuously fulfilled both ongoing and urgent requests from the 47th Brigade. Thanks to the support of donors, over more than two years, the foundation has provided the 47th Brigade with vehicles, equipment, tactical medical supplies, and other essential resources. It has also extended support and assistance to the families of service members, with contributions totaling over 169 million UAH (approximately $4 million). Since 2024, the charitable organization «Markus Foundation» has been supporting a veteran-led project of the 47th Brigade called Flying Head. Starting in 2024, the charitable organization «Markus Foundation» has also expanded its support to include other units of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
