Marlin Human Capital was established in February 2022 by Executive Director and owner Umesh Chauhan. Umesh has 27 years of experience in the recruitment industry, 20 of which have been in the Sydney market and focused on the provision of Technology and Transformation professionals to a broad range of Corporate, Financial Services, Not-For-Profit and Government customers. As a result, Marlin Human Capital has an extensive referral network to draw from to identify key talent. Umesh has been an ever-present supporter and confidant of mid-senior level Technology and Transformation talent throughout their career journeys. In a strategic move designed to provide enhanced service delivery for our customers, Marlin has also established a market-leading research and customer delivery function led by Director of Operations, Scott Blakemore. Scott has 25 years of recruitment experience in both agency and in-house / RPO environments, the past 15 of which have been fulfilled predominantly within the ANZ region. Scott has operated in a number of client-side strategic talent acquisition and operational leadership roles, including membership of regional HR leadership teams, providing a unique insight into how we can better partner with our customers to support their strategic talent objectives. Services & Structure Marlin provides both permanent and contract recruitment services, specialising in the mid-market to Executive level across the Technology and Transformation sector. As a rough measure, we tend to work on roles from $140k base salary upwards within the permanent and Fixed Term Contract market, and $600 per day upwards for contractors. We partner with you to establish the scope and cultural nuances required to meet your business objectives through the appointment of technology leadership and project services professionals. We develop a bespoke plan, making it possible for us to identify skilled talent and an exceptional fit.
