Marqette Food Hall is located at the heart of Terminal 1 in Dublin Airport. This busy and bustling terminal is the origin of flights throughout Europe, Scandanavia, Britain and increasingly longer-haul destinations including Canada and the Middle East. Marqette’s customer base is reflected in this. It serves fast paced commuter traffic, shortbreak holiday travellers, family groups and those making connecting flights. As Marqette’s reputation grows, passengers from Terminal 2, only a short walk away, are making their way over to Marqette to discover and enjoy this unique dining and service experience. An exciting and innovative variety of delicious food is served daily in Marqette. This can be enjoyed in the 400 seater dining area or taken away if time is limited. Every day an extensive and exciting range of food is freshly prepared on the premises. These include freshly baked artisan sandwiches and wraps, cakes and patisserie from the in-house bakery, traditional Irish breakfasts, vegetarian cooked breakfasts, soups, delicious salads, rotisserie roasted meats with accompanying fresh vegetables and freshly prepared hot dishes. Also on offer are freshly made omelettes and made to order crepes along with a wide selection of hot and cold drinks. In 2017 Marqette, which is part of the Michael JF Wright Hospitality Group, won “Airport Food Hall of the Year” at Moodie Davitt Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) Conference & Awards. The shortlist was drawn from almost 250 entries, representing all sectors of the burgeoning airport food & beverage sector. The awards recognise and reward best practice in the sector and Marqette was shortlisted in three categories; “Airport Food Hall of the Year,” “Airport Bar of the Year,” “Airport Food on the Go.” Marqette was announced as the overall winner of the prestigious “Airport Food Hall of the Year," positioning Marqette as the number one in the world.
