We're about jobs. Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance (MAEDA) teamed up with Southwest Michigan First in 2014 to staff and power the economic development efforts for the historic community of Marshall, Michigan – and that means growing jobs! The Southwest Michigan First team in Marshall will also focus on small business growth through the Chamber and tourism. This partnership will continue to celebrate and promote Marshall’s unique heritage and business environment resulting in innovative support that will positively impact businesses, guests and residents alike. Southwest Michigan First is passionate about cultivating a strong economic future for all of Southwest Michigan – and that includes Marshall. Recognized for excellence in economic development, the team has also been known as problem solvers, change agents, people connectors and advocates.
