Martaucy Designs

Martaucy Designs was created by Marcus D. Taylor in 2012 after being honorably discharged from active service with the U.S. Army. He served 21 Years in the Army and learned how to be a graphic designer from online videos, tutorial articles, magazines, and books while on various deployments. The company was visualized while visiting a local barber who needed a logo for a new startup. The patron at the barber shop didn’t have much of knowledge for the cost for a logo and was unsure how to make one professional enough to be his company's staple icon. After speaking with the patron Marcus designs his first logo for a paying client. After the successful design Marcus setup a website for the client and produced a bulk package of stationery which included business cards, advertisement postcards, and letterheads and posters. Soon after his first major project was with another small business in the area that requested a similar setup for their business.
