MarTek Roofing cc is a registered MiTek licensed fabricator, specialising in roof design, cost-effective manufacturing, installation and certification of prefabricated timber and Ultra-Span (galvanised steel) roof trusses. Before our name change in 1994, we were trading as MarTek Argitek Tekenaars en Bou Aannemers cc. Our business was found in 1991 by Mona H Anderson and Sakkie Maritz, in Welkom, Free State, operating at all levels of construction. In 1992, our business relocated to Shayandima, Venda. MarTek roofing cc then opened their second factory in Polokwane during 2005. All operations then were conducted from the Polokwane branch as of 2010. Quintin van Wyk (previously with MiTek industries) joined Martek roofing cc in 2017 and Glenda Maritz (Previously with Safintra South Africa) in 2018 as members of the board. Mona H Anderson has since retired from MarTek Roofing cc (non-active member). Our core operations are designing, manufacturing, installing and certifying timber and Ultra-Span trusses, using MiTek's Pamir Suit of Applications. We are also affiliated members of the ITC-SA, NHBRC and SAIAT. Our main customer base is found throughout the whole of Limpopo Province, but our reputation extends as far as Gauteng. Roofs are our speciality, any form, shape, or size. We range for the standard garage roof to the most complex government and shopping centre building. We now offer inspection, remedial and certification services so that your roof structure conforms to carry the extra solar load.
