In 1966, Edward Gene Martin realized his dream of opening his own GMC dealership in Lake Charles, Louisiana at the age of 37. As the business grew, he added multiple dimensions to a thriving franchise. Over the years, Many of Ed's family members have contributes to the growth and development of Martin Automotive Group. Mr. Ed's legacy will extend well beyond his years. Martin Automotive Groups roots extend beyond Lake Charles through memberships in the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) and American Truck Dealers (ATD) Louisiana Automobile Dealers Association (LADA). Martin Automotive Group has recently celebrated our 50th anniversary, making us the oldest dealer in Southwest Louisiana.
