Marvelling Roots

Founded in 2018 by Kerlinda War and Banraplang Pyngrope, Marvelling Roots draws inspiration from the extraordinary "Living Root Bridge," a testament to nature’s resilience and human ingenuity. In this marvel of engineering, the Khasi people from Meghalaya guide the roots of ancient trees with bamboos and twigs, nurturing them along a chosen path. Once these roots are set on course, they grow and intertwine, forming a sturdy bridge across rivers and streams with minimal maintenance—a living connection that endures over time. Marvelling Roots embodies this philosophy, focusing on the critical early stages of guidance and support for individuals with and without disabilities. By setting them on the right path, they can later thrive independently, requiring only essential follow-up to ensure their continued growth. Initially, Marvelling Roots focused on intervention and rehabilitation for children with cerebral palsy and severe disabilities. As we grew, we recognized the broader needs of other children, leading us to expand our services to include all children, both with and without disabilities. We aim to enhance their quality of life through continuous support and follow-up. Our tagline "Intervention for All” reflects our dedication to improving the lives of all children. Over the past five years, we have successfully launched two centers: RapLin Schools of Skills and the BanKer Early Intervention Center, serving our community with dedication and care.
