Mary Jane Magazines

The idea for Mary Jane Magazines was first realized on September 20th, 2010. After years of reading marijuana publications and being frustrated by the male-dominant theme that is only about strains, bikinis and a ‘damn the man’ attitude, we decided to create a magazine that will focus on topics we want to read about and deliver those topics in a cultured, fun, sexy and tasteful way. Combining news with style and a feminine perspective isn’t an easy task for MJM’s contributors since most of the available material is still controlled by men. So what are we doing? Creating our own material! We interview attorneys, co-ops and dispensaries owners, physicians, activists, chefs, politicians; women who are work in the industry and are helping to reshape it. Our articles are on businesses, both large and small, that owned by women or medical researchers who are finding new breakthroughs and benefits via marijuana, or fashion designers who are utilizing hemp as a fabric base. MJM covers everything from Art & Entertainment to Health & Body; from Current Event coverage to the largest online Calendar for marijuana-based trade shows, conferences, seminars and rallies happening in your area. ‘Mary Janes’ are women who are pushing and redefining the marijuana industry in every way that they can, who support and promote marijuana and who do so with charisma, character and class.
