Mascot Label Group is a 100% independently owned and operated record company that is a market leader in the worlds of Rock, Metal and Blues. Originally founded in 1989 in The Netherlands, MLG now operates company offices in New York City, London, Cologne, Paris, Milan, Stockholm, alongside the corporate headquarters in Rotterdam. Mascot Label Group consists of individual imprints that include Mascot Records, Provogue Records, Music Theories Recordings and Cool Green Recordings. MLG is a label member of the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM). Provogue is the market leader in guitar loaded blues titles and is revered for its support of artists that include Beth Hart, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Cedric Burnside, Robert Randolph, Gary Moore, Steve Cropper, Walter Trout, Joe Bonamassa, Robin Trower, Gov't Mule, Warren Haynes, and many more. Provogue found success growing the careers of Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart: both started in small clubs, and are now selling out arenas all over the world. Mascot Records primarily issues metal and rock albums. The label introduced Volbeat to the world, releasing the band's first three studio albums and a DVD. Other artists signed to Mascot Records include Black Stone Cherry, Crobot, Conquer Divide, P.O.D, Defects, Black Country Communion, DeWolff, The Cold Stares, 10 Years, The Georgia Thunderbolts and Shaman's Harvest. Music Theories Recordings continues to be a leader in the worlds of progressive and musicianship, with Flying Colors (super group featuring Steve Morse and Mike Portnoy) and Ayreon as the highest profile names so far. Additional artists signed to the imprint include Paul Gilbert, Arjen Lucassen’s Guilt Machine, Yngwie Malmsteen and many more. The Players Club houses artists like TOTO and solo records from Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams, Robby Krieger, Michael Landau and many others.
