Maslow Entertainment is a progressive, integrated film distribution and production development company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. Founded by Marc Wooldridge, the former Managing Director of 20th Century Fox Film Distribution in Australia, he brings over 28 years of entertainment experience, knowledge and trusted relationships to Maslow Entertainment. Given the pace of change within the industry and the influence of technology on production, promotion and distribution, it is time to consider different ways of doing things and that’s why Maslow was created. Our aim is to contribute to a vibrant and varied Australian film culture across all screens by collaborating with other businesses and filmmakers to help them achieve their creative and commercial goals. We operate across three key areas: Film Distribution With an emphasis on audience insight, a flexible structure and first-rate execution, our distribution capabilities provide international companies and local producers with smart release strategies and novel promotional campaigns across a broad range of film genres. Production Development Our goal is to be the preferred business partner of local filmmakers. We encourage early, in-depth interaction to help identify and develop the most viable projects together. This ‘discovery to distribution’ approach aims to promote a producer’s vision connecting with meaningful audiences in cinemas and in the home. Film Industry Advisory Maslow also provides commercial insight and advice on various aspects of the entertainment industry. Specifically for the creative community, we offer pitch and script feedback, financial analysis, and guidance on optimal marketing strategies and positioning.
